All aboard for the Telegraph Cruise Show

imageCruising is more popular than ever – and our travel show can help you find a trip that suits your tastes and budget.

If you are thinking of taking a cruise this year – and nearly 1.8 million Britons are likely to do so – then you should benefit from a trip to the The Telegraph Cruise Show, which takes place at Olympia in London this weekend.

It’s the value for money and the range of experiences offered that explain the appeal of holidays afloat, according to the Passenger Shipping Association. But greater choice – in the form of more ships, destinations, excursions and on-board activities – is making it harder than ever for holidaymakers to decide. Our show is designed to help you find the right cruise for you, whether your intention is to unwind in the Mediterranean, sail around the world or join an expeditionary vessel to the Antarctic.

All the world’s leading cruise lines will be represented. In addition, Telegraph Travel will be presenting a series of talks. Speakers will range from our own columnist Douglas Ward – considered by many to be the world’s leading expert on cruising – to the broadcaster Sue Lawley and the actor Michael Simkins, both recent converts to the benefits of taking a cruise.

Douglas Ward and Jane Archer – another Telegraph Travel contributor – will be taking part in question-and-answer sessions, offering advice on everything from the most family-friendly ships to how to find the best cabin, and Telegraph Travel Shop will be presenting a selection of the best holiday offers.
